If you are a resident of the Lake Hotel Groups of 8 or more can be collected or dropped off at the Lake Hotel Pier.

We highly recommend the Gap of Dunloe
as A great way to explore some of
Killarney's hidden Gems.

Turnpike Rock, Gap of Dunloe

The trip comprises of : Bus or Cycle 8 miles
to Kate Kearney's Cottage
Cycle (you need a bike !!), Walk through
the Gap 8 miles to Lord Brandon's Cottage,
Then get on an open boat for a 13 mile trip through the 3 lakes of Killarney
This will bring you back to Ross Castle
10 am - 4 pm and most enjoyable
The whole tour can also be done in reverse (you may want to do it twice)


Old Weir Bridge, Killarney

Boats travel through this magnificent arch at the Old Weir Bridge !

Charges are € 28 for Bus and Boat
Boat only is €15
You can also do the 13 mile Boat trip from Ross Castle and then walk the Kerry way
and old Kenmare Road back to Killarney (10 miles of bliss)

You can also Cycle to Ross Castle in the morning and load your bike
on the boat and cycle it reverse.
This is an excellent way to see this magnificent scenery !
